Our pastoral staff will be away (September 9th – 12th) along with our Synod delegates attending our Provincial Synod in Black Mountain, NC. On Sunday, September 12th we welcome a familiar face to the pulpit, The Rev. Ray Troutman, who served as our visitation pastor for 12 years. We will have one worship service at 10 AM followed by Sunday school at 11:05 AM that day.
Please keep our pastoral staff and delegates in your prayers.
Funtastics’ inaugural gathering is scheduled for Thursday, September 16th. Join us for this road trip into Yadkin County for a tour and lunch at Misty Creek Vineyards. Our program at Misty Creek will begin at 10:30 am.
Misty Creek is owned and operated by Church members Barry, Kathy, and Marge Nichols. Barry will share the story behind his lifelong dream of owning a vineyard and how this became a reality. They will offer tours of their vineyard (during the heart of the picking season!), and we can enjoy their hospitality and some of their wines in their beautiful tasting room. A deli tray lunch will also be provided.

The Church Bus will be available this day so if you are interested in traveling by bus, make plans to meet on the fellowship hall side of the church at 9:45 AM.

The first day of Preschool was very tiring for some!
There will be more photos to view from the opening days of the Preschool soon! These photos will be available to download or order prints online through Google’s Picasa web albums.
