Twelve Senior High youth and six adults spent a week serving among Moravians in Alaska! The week involved cabinet and floor installation and landscaping on church property in Bethel, while others led Vacation Bible School in the village of Kongiganak. Our youth held a Baked Potato & Salad Luncheon this past Sunday, June 13, from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. The menu included baked potato with all the trimmings, salad bar, roll, drink, and dessert. There was no cost, but donations were accepted for Youth Missions. MANY THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED!
We confirmed the eleven members of our Confirmation Class on Pentecost Sunday, May 23! We are proud of this year’s class, and we are grateful for the support of their families and the New Philadelphia congregation. Click on the picture for a larger image.
Our annual Youth BBQ Chicken Dinner will be this Saturday, March 6, from 4:30 – 7:00 pm. Cost is $8 per person and the menu includes BBQ chicken, baked beans, slaw, roll, dessert, and drink. Curb side service is available. Proceeds will benefit our Youth mission trips and programs.
