Have you been thinking about learning to play a band instrument? Beginning Band is available for youth and adults and starts Tuesday Sept. 2nd at 6:30 pm and practice will be held in the Choir Room of Home Church. This is a service available for all Moravian churches and friends to share.
Drive into the Salem Fine Arts Center and The Moravian Graveyard Parking lots. Go as far as possible to the far left back side of Home Church. Walk up the driveway and enter the two double doors on the left side at the back of the church. Once inside, bear left and the choir room is on the left. Ask for Robah Ogburn and/ or Connie Merritt. They are the instructors. Beginning lessons are also available at New Philadelphia Moravian 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon. If you are interested please send e-mail to band@newphilly.org.
For those interested in 2nd and 3rd classes, these are also available at Home Moravian Church 7:30 p.m.
As a reminder, NPMC band plays for preludes each Sunday at 8:30 a.m. Band practice is Sunday’s 5:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. For additional causal band playing/practice a group meets Wednesdays in the band room at 7:30 p.m.
