After almost two years of consideration, and several months of planning
by a Graveyard committee, the Trustees have decided to build a
Columbarium in our cemetery for those who wish to be cremated and
interred in that manner. There is a growing trend toward this method of
burial of loved ones, and at last October’s church council,a straw vote
indicated overwhelming positive response to our consideration of a
Columbarium. It will be located at the southern end of the
cemetery,replacing part of the existing fence. A computer generated
picture is included herein to show how it will look. Construction will
begin as soon as funding is secured,and members who are interested in
making donations to this effort are encouraged to do so. In the near
future, pictures and revised graveyard rules and regulations will be
posted on the church website.
