It is holiday cooking time…or smoking time that is! Discovery Sunday School Class at New Philadelphia Moravian will be smoking pork tenderloin, boneless turkey breasts, beef tenderloins, and smoked meat loafs on Tuesday November 26 but NOT at Christmas. For Christmas, order for Thanksgiving and freeze the meat.

All proceeds are directed to “Make the Slab Fab” at Laurel Ridge.

The pork tenderloins are $14 each and similar to those you find in your local grocery that range in size (uncooked) 1 to 1-1/4 pounds. They are seasoned with a spicy rub and smoked more or less for two hours. The 3-pound boneless turkey breast is seasoned with a rosemary garlic-based rub and smoked more or less four to five hours and priced at $18 each. Beef tenderloins range in size from 1.8 to 3.5 pounds and are $17 per pound so they range in price $30 to $60. Each beef tenderloin will be weighed and priced after it is smoked and packaged. The beef is cooked to an internal temperature of 120 degrees (rare) so you may reheat to desired doneness. We are adding by request smoked meat loafs at a cost of $16 each.  Reheating directions will be included with your order.

Orders must be placed by Wednesday, November 20 for pickup on Tuesday November 26.  Your order will be available and must be picked up between 3PM to 6PM at New Philadelphia Moravian Church Pavilion.
