The Provincial Administration/Ministries Task Force is sponsoring a series of “town meetings” to present the proposed new structure for the Southern Province and respond to questions. The Task Force has developed the proposal over the past two years, and it has been endorsed by the Provincial Elders’ Conference. The Special Synod which has been called for September 11-12, 2009 will consider the proposal for adoption and implementation.
The meetings are open to all members of Southern Province congregations and fellowships, and no reservations are needed. Each “town meeting” will include the same presentation and agenda, so that interested persons may choose to attend the meeting closest to them or most convenient for them.
