Some men from our church working on the Friends Cottage at Laurel Ridge

The Men of New Philadelphia stay active and involved in helping others. Many men from our congregation participate in workdays at our Denominational camp facility, Laurel Ridge throughout the year. Others are involved with The Moravian Disaster Response Teams that venture out to areas like the Gulf Coast to assist victims of hurricanes or other natural disasters.

We also enjoy times of fellowship together. We gather monthly for a Men’s Breakfast. Typically church members lead our devotionals but we also have special guests as well. This past year we welcomed Wake Forest football coach Jim Grobe as one of our speakers. We also host a special Couple’s Breakfast during the month of February on a Saturday morning in which spouses are invited to attend.
