New Philadelphia Moravian Preschool has entered it’s third decade of operation. More than 200 of the world’s greatest children fill the halls with laughter and joy each year. The Preschool offers a developmentally appropriate preschool program serving children from three months to five years of age. Our goal is to provide a positive and enriching experience for every child in a loving Christian environment. We accomplish this by planning meaningful curriculum which encourages children to learn through discovery and hands on experiences.Daily activities include center play,circle time, instruction time, once a week classes with the art specialist and the music/dramatic arts specialist, twice monthly spanish instruction with a native speaker, chapel, snack, and outdoor play.

- A Pre-K Readiness Program for 5 Year Olds
- Lunch Bunch Offered Until 1:00 PM Daily
- A Discovery Day Camp Program

Inclement Weather Policy

We follow the Winston-Salem and Forsyth County School system regarding school system closings. Click here for an update on closings.
- When schools are closed, we are closed.
- When school is delayed one hour, we will open from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM.
(Lunch Bunch will be offered from 12:00 PM -1:00 PM). - When school is delayed two hours, we will open from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. The children will be served a regular snack, but there will be no Lunch Bunch.
If the public school advises a different plan for the different age groups (elementary, middle, high school) follow the plan for the elementary schools. If the weather starts to change during the morning, and the schools decide to close during the regular operating hours of the Preschool - 9:00 AM-1:00 PM, then you must come-to pick up your child. You will need to stay tuned to the local radio or television stations.
