Every Sunday during Lent, we will have a Mission Moment that focuses on the ministries that are highlighted on the previous Saturday in our Lenten Devotional Guide. On the first two Sundays in Lent, we focused on “Food Insecurity” (H.O.P.E. and Haiti) and Poverty and Social Concerns (Sunnyside Ministry; Forsyth Jail and Prison Ministry; Salvation Army).

On all of these Sundays, our band will be playing a prelude on the front lawn beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Every Wednesday during Lent, Pastor Gray will host a Lenten Reflection (via Zoom) at noon. It will last 30 – 40 minutes.

Our Congregational Council is Sunday, March 21, at 5:00 p.m. You may register online to attend in person. If you plan to join via Zoom you will also need to register online to do that. If you plan to attend in-person and require childcare, contact Evie Blum.

On Palm Sunday, March 28, we will install our new Board members (Elders and Trustees). There will also be a Confirmation Service (later in the day) for the students who began the process in 2019.

Holy Week:

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (March 29, 30, 31) we will join via Zoom with other Moravian congregations to take part in the Readings for Holy Week.

Maundy Thursday (April 1): We will have a Holy Communion Service at 7:00 p.m. The service will be Live streamed and registration for in-person attendance will open on March 29. Beginning at 12:00 noon, there will be a cross outside in front of the sanctuary and you will be invited to come by and “nail your sins to the cross” (details to follow).
