Anniversary Project

What does 175 years look like? It looks like all of you, as we take a “snapshot” of New Philadelphia and create a project that is unlike anything we’ve done before.

We are honoring our 175 years as a Moravian body of Christ in the South Fork neighborhood, by compiling stories from you – stories that reflect your personalities and your passions…stories about your families, careers, and times at New Philadelphia…stories about a funny event in your lives…stories about how you navigated particular challenges…all kinds of stories!

Our hope is to have every nuclear or extended family represented through at least one individual and his or her story. All that is needed is to sit down and talk or answer questions so we can discover a story that reflects you. After it is written, you will approve your story before it joins others in a publication ready for distribution in July (and before our 176th anniversary).
