GATHERING ANNOUNCEMENT
Some of you may have noticed that we have not been “Gathering” on Thursday evenings during the summer. At our last Gathering we discussed the possibility of ways we might reach out to Spanish-speaking people in our community. A lot of good ideas were shared.
Next Thursday, August 18th, we would like for anyone who is interested in exploring this ministry to “gather” in the Banquet Room at 7:00 p.m. You can probably guess what the theme of our snacks will be!
Some ideas that have been shared include:
- Hosting ESL (English as a Second Language) classes
- Shared activities with Estamos Unidos Ministries
- Spanish Conversation classes for New Philly folks
- Offering a Bible Study in Spanish
So, come gather and bring your ideas (or listening ears) on Thursday, August 18th at 7:00 p.m. in the Banquet Room!
