Tomorrow is the first day of Lent. Today we celebrated the end of “feasting” with a Shrove Tuesday Tea. A tip of the hat goes out to those who made it possible: V. Flynt, B. King, M. Tedder, C. Manning, B. Pettersen and N. Holland. There were about 20 guest. We cut a King Cake—-and we had cucumber sandwiches. The Pastor spoke about an ominous subject—“The Number of the Beast is the Number of a Man.” If you would like to attend one of our Pastor’s teas, please contact The Church Office. We hold them two to three times each year. If you want to know more about the Book of Revelation, plan to attend the Pastor’s Luncheon Bible Study, beginning on Thursday, February 21st. We will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bring a sandwich. Beverages will be provided.
