The normal appearance of the graveyard should be that of serene simplicity of gravestones against grass, in quiet witness to the teachings of the Moravian Church. In keeping with the teachings of Scripture and of the Moravian Church regarding the nature and duration of life, the following schedule has been established for the placement and removal of floral arrangements during sanctioned times of worship and commemoration

People desiring to place flowers at other times for personal dates of remembrance or for other reasons have the liberty to do so but will have the responsibility to maintain them so that they do not become unsightly or impede necessary mowing. The listed dates are the only times that flowers will be removed* for mowing and maintenance.
