Pray Every Day December 2022

 

1.       I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Pray for Michael and Brenda Brent in Croatia.

2.       The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until he to whom it belongs shall come and the obedience of the nations shall be his. Pray for Charlie and            Vicki Brent in Texas.

3.       When your days are over and you rest with your ancestors, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, your own flesh and blood, and I will establish his kingdom. Pray for the government            leaders in our country.

4.       Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. Pray for Safiatu Braima and Sierra Leone.

5.       When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. Pray for the Moravians in Peru.

6.       But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient
          times. Pray for Moravians in Cuba and the Armando Rusindo Foundation.

7.       You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet. Pray for             the Moravians in Honduras and Nicaragua.

8.       My people, hear my teaching; listen to the words of my mouth. I will open my mouth with a parable; I will utter hidden things, things from of old. Pray for the Sineaths in Campus Outreach.

9.       In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his resting place will be glorious. Pray for the Thiessens in Canada.

10.   Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Pray for the travel of the Teshes and their furlough time here in the United States as well as for Ray of Hope in            Kenya while they are away.

11.   A voice of one calling: ‘In the wilderness prepare the way for the Lord.’ Pray for the Unity Women’s Desk.

12.   Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight. Pray for Steve and Ann Marx with Mission Aviation Fellowship.

13.   The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. Pray for the Harrisons with Greek Intervarsity.

14.   He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. Pray for Alan and DeeDee Iobst in France.

15.   In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. Pray for the Board of World Mission.

16.   He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and people of every language worshipped him. Pray for Annie B Missions and Star Mountain.

17.   His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed. Pray for Kevin and Charity in the Middle East.

18.   See your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey. Pray for Brian and Heather Marx with Mission Aviation Fellowship.

19.   The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will raise up for David a righteous branch a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. Pray for the Hoffmans in                    HIV/AIDS Ministry.

20.   When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you.

21.   You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. Pray for Adopt A Village in Tanzania.

22.   For nothing is impossible with God. Pray for Phil and Eunice Raiford in Mexico.

23.   Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said to her will be accomplished! Pray for the Rajpur Foster Child Project.

24.   Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all people. Pray for PEC members, bishops and other church leaders.

25.   Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. Pray for the local homeless shelters.

26.   Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests. Pray for seminarians and candidates for ordination.

27.   When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child. Pray for the Clinica Evangelica Morava in Ahaus.

28.   The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. Pray for the Moravian churches in Haiti.

29.   When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. They saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped him. Pray for disaster relief workers.

30.   Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. Pray for firefighters and police officers.

31.   And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men. Pray for Estamos Unidos Moravian Ministry.

2. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Pray for Michael and Naomi Woo and their missionary leadership course.

3. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Pray for disaster relief workers and Moravian Disaster Response.

4. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. Pray for Michael and Brenda Brent in Croatia.

5. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Pray for Louis and Susan Sutton in Singapore.

6. The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Pray for Charlie and Vicki Brent in Texas.

7. As you go, preach this message: “The kingdom of heaven is near.” Pray for the government leaders and unity in our country.

8. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. Pray for short term mission teams.

9. Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Pray for Safiatu Braima and Sierra Leonne.

10. Make a tree good and its fruit will be good, or make a tree bad and its fruit will be bad, for a tree is recognized by its fruit. Pray for seminarians and candidates for ordination.

11. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother. Pray for the Moravians in Peru.

12. If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. Pray for the Clinica Evangelica Morava in Ahaus.

13. I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Pray for Moravians in Cuba and the Armando Rusindo Foundation.

14. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all you mind. Pray for PEC members, bishops, and other church leaders.

15. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Pray for Moravians in Honduras and Nicaragua.

16. I till you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me. Pray for the Raipur Foster Child Project.

17. The kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe the good news! Pray for the Teshes in Kenya and Ray of Hope.

18. It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Pray for Phil and Eunice Raiford in Mexico.

19. You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Pray for Robert and Anne Thiessen.

20. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Pray for Adopt-a-Village in Tanzania.

21. Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. Pray for the Sineaths in Campus Outreach.

22. And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Pray for the Unity Women’s Desk.

23. I will have mercy on whom I have mercy and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. Pray for the Hoffmans in HIV/AIDS ministry.

24. That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Pray for Steve and Ann Marx with Mission Aviation Fellowship.

25. Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Pray for Kevin and Charity in the Middle East.

26. As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God. Pray for Dusty and Christin Harrison with Greek Intervarsity.

27. May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray for Brian and Heather Marx with Mission Aviation Fellowship.

28. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. Pray for Alan and DeeDee Iobst in France.

29. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. Pray for Annie B Missions and Star Mountain.

30. Salt is good, but if it loses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with each other. Pray for the Board of World Mission.

31. Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. Pray for Estamos Unidos Moravian Ministry.

Pray Every Day August 2022

 

  1. Rise up and help us; redeem us because of your unfailing love. Pray for Michael and Brenda Brent in Croatia.
  2. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Pray for Charlie and Vicki Brent in Texas.
  3. For lack of guidance a nation falls, but many advisers make victory sure. Pray for the government leaders in our country.
  4. Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show you compassion. Pray for Safiatu Braima and Sierra Leone.
  5. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him! Pray for the Moravians in Peru.
  6. For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king, it is he who will save us. Pray for Moravians in Cuba and the Armando Rusindo Foundation.
  7. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Pray for the Moravians in Honduras and Nicaragua.
  8. Return to me, for I have redeemed you. Pray for the Teshes in Kenya and Ray of Hope.
  9. So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty. Pray for the Thiessens in Canada.
  10. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness. Pray for the Sineaths in Campus Outreach.
  11. I will set a sign among them and I will send them to the nations. They will proclaim my glory among the nations. Pray for the work of the Unity Women’s Desk.
  12. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. Pray for Steve and Ann Marx with Mission Aviation Fellowship.
  13. The Lord is my portion therefore I will wait for him. Pray for the Harrisons with Greek Intervarsity.
  14. For God so loved the world he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. Pray for Alan and DeeDee Iobst in France.
  15. That joy is mine and it is now complete. He must become greater; I must become less. Pray for the Board of World Mission.
  16. I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. Pray for Annie B Missions and Star Mountain.
  17. I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the son sets you free, you will be free indeed. Pray for Kevin and Charity in the Middle East.
  18. They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Pray for Brian and Heather Marx with Mission Aviation Fellowship.
  19. Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. Pray for the Hoffmans in HIV/AIDS Ministry.
  20. Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Pray for the refugees and displaced persons in Ukraine.
  21. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Pray for Adopt A Village in Tanzania.
  22. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice Hospitality. Pray for Phil and Eunice Raiford in Mexico.
  23. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. Pray for the Rajpur Foster Child Project.
  24. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Pray for PEC members, bishops and other church leaders.
  25. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. Pray for the Clinica Evangelica Morava in Ahaus.
  26. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men. Pray for seminarians and candidates for ordination.
  27. Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Pray for short term mission teams.
  28. I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Pray for students returning to school.
  29. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Pray for disaster relief workers.
  30. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross. Pray for firefighters and police officers.
  31. The Lord is good, his mercy endures forever. Pray for Estamos Unidos Moravian Ministry.

What do “fun and games” and “Southern Province Synod update” have in common?
 
Well, they will both be part of this Thursday’s Gathering!
 
At 7:00 p.m. there will be outdoor games and refreshments out on the lawn near the Banquet Room portico and board games inside in the lobby. Then, at 7:30 p.m., you can choose to keep on playing OR go inside and hear an update on our recent Southern Province Synod (resolutions that were passed; election results; decisions that were made, etc.).
 
We will conclude the evening with an outdoor prayer circle, asking God’s blessing on our congregation and our Province.
