REVIVAL GUESTS

Bishop Tom Shelton: Ordained in ministry in 1978, Bishop Shelton served as pastor at Friedberg Moravian Church in Winston-Salem for nearly 30 years. He was elected as a Bishop of the Moravian Worldwide Unity in 2018 and is
currently retired and residing in DeLeon Springs, Florida and is a member of the Rolling Hills Moravian Church in Longwood.

Sister Siv Ashley: Born in Cambodia, Sister Siv’s life is a testimony to God’s grace and faithfulness. Influenced by the faith of her father, who came to know Jesus during the severe persecution in Cambodia, she accepted Jesus Christ at the age of nine. During her childhood, she endured the heartbreaking loss of many loved ones, yet she states, “Through every trial and every blessing, I have witnessed God’s unwavering love and faithfulness in my life”. Sister Siv has served on the mission board for Servants of Christ International, and she continues to share the gospel locally and internationally through women’s conferences, Bible teaching, writing, and motivational speaking.

Brother Gene Francis: Brother Francis has served as Worship Leader at Reynolda Church for more than twenty years, leading congregations of every size-from intimate gatherings of 10 to services with over 1,000 people. With a background as a vocal performance major and proficiency on guitar, he blends the richness of ancient hymns with the authenticity of modern worship. Gene’s passion is creating an environment for the entire community of believers to actively participate in worship together.

The Rt. Reverend Dr. Dion Christopher: Dr. Christopher has spent much of his ministry serving in the Caribbean, including almost a decade as an active State Chaplain and Senior Army Chaplain for the U.S. Virgin Islands National Guard. His leadership accomplishments include serving as the Chairperson of the Moravian Church Eastern West Indies Province and working with the Board of World Mission for many years. He was recently elected as a Bishop of the Moravian Worldwide Unity, and he is currently serving, along with his wife, as a
pastor at Prince of Peace Moravian Church in Miami.

Dr. David Allen: Over the last five decades Dr. Allen has been a force in shaping gospel music. He has gained national recognition through his affiliation with the Gospel Music Workshop of America and has made a lasting
mark on the performing arts through his work with the North Carolina Black Repertory Company. He has served as Minister of Music at Ambassadors Cathedral in Winston Salem for nearly fifty years, and, in 2016, Dr. Allen founded Hymns for Him, a non-profit organization dedicated to hymnody and the worship experience. He has dedicated 36 years to teaching and coaching basketball and currently holds the position of Dean of Culture at South Fork Elementary School.

Bishop Sam Gray: Born in Winston-Salem, Bishop Gray grew up in a missionary family in Nicaragua with his parents and siblings. Later, he spent 13 years as a missionary in Honduras as a high school teacher, Director of the Bible Institute, Christian Education Director, and organizing pastor of Israel Moravian Church in Tegucigalpa – all before attending Moravian Theological Seminary in 1993. After his ordination, he spent many years in ministry and over two decades on staff with the Board of World Mission. He was elected as a Bishop of the Moravian Worldwide Unity in 2006 and currently serves as the senior pastor at New Philadelphia Moravian Church.
